Kenny Chuang serves as the Executive Director of Foos Safety and Quality Assurance for Panda Restaurant Group (PRG), the parent company of Panda Express. Kenny joined PRG in 2020 and brings over 25 years of experiences and extensive knowledge in food safety, quality system, product specifications, recall system, supplier sourcing/qualification, distribution performance validation, vendors and co-manufacturers quality management, and cost saving in corporate, manufacturing, and retail environments. Before joining Panda Restaurant Group Kenny served as the QA Director at Panera Bread, Sr. Director & Function Head of Quality Assurance at Yum! Brands, China, Director of International Quality Assurance and Food Safety at Rich Products Corporation, and Global Quality Compliance Manager at Mead Johnson Nutrition. Kenny received a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Technology from Virginia Tech., Master degree in Food Science/Food Microbiology from Kansas State University, and MBA from the University of Kansas.
